Connection Name
User display name for connection list
Server
FTP server name or address. If you need to specify nonstandard port (21), write port number after server address:
User Name
User name for FTP server access. It's optional. If not entered, you will be asked for it.
Password
User password for FTP server access. It's optional. If not entered, you will be asked for it. It is stored in file PSPadFTP.INI in encrypted form.
Remote Directory
This directory will be set after the server connects.
Connection Timeout
You can set a timeout for each FTP account. This is the amount of time the FTP client should wait for a response from the server before it disconnects from the server.
Passive Mode
You may need it if you connect to FTP from proxy server or behind a firewall. Always try to connect with it first.
Keep Connection by Sending
In defined intervals (if FTP is idle) PSPad will send chosen command to prevent server from disconnecting you. Many servers will wait 5 minutes (300 seconds) of inactivity before disconnecting you.
